What 2020 Taught Me

  • Kindness costs nothing but is in short supply

  • Adversity reveals authenticity

  • What about your friends? We are truly social animals.

It is truly a small world, far more interconnected than we may ever have imagined. We tend to think about this only when it’s convenient, when talking about our social-media feeds, or capitalism. But the pandemic has also reminded us that we are all connected souls, too. Our physicality and emotion matter are somehow intertwined, also, as is evidenced by the supersonic speed that Coronavirus circumnavigated the world - disrupting our routines, conveniences and mental stability. There is no landmass inhabited by humans unaffected by the virus - to think otherwise is ill advised and dangerous.

The truth is driven by our politics. But data can not be denied.

What’s normal anyway?
